Hiking from Dana to Wadi Rum - 10 Days is a small group tour that includes accommodation in a hotel and campsites as well as an expert guide, meals, transport and more.

Explore Jordan by Foot!! Hike from Dana Nature Reserve to Petra and in Wadi Rum during this program. 6 days of hiking are included; the average amount of kilometers you walk per day is around 19 km. During this hiking tour, you will walk through canyons, valleys, small Bedouin villages, along with Byzantine ruins and Roman fortresses. Hike with us through Jordan’s breathtaking landscapes.

Itinerary

• Day 1 - Arrival Queen Alia Airport—Amman

  Arrival at Amman Queen Alia International airport.

  Your driver will wait for you in the arrival hall, also holding a name sign and he will transfer you to your hotel in Amman for overnight, including breakfast.

• Day 2 - Amman—Madaba—Karak—Dana

  After breakfast drive to Madaba, to visit the St. George Church with its famous mosaic map.

  Continue to Mt. Nebo, from where Moses viewed the Promised Land. Follow the King’s Highway until Karak to visit the immense Crusaders Castle.

  Transfer to Dana Nature Reserve for dinner and overnight.

• Day 3 - Hike Dana—WadiFeynan

  After breakfast starts hiking from Dana Nature Reserve to WadiFeynan.

  Today you hike a spectacular downhill walk from Dana to Feynan through the sandstone gorge of Wadi Dana.

  Private camping in WadiFeynan including dinner and breakfast.

• Day 4 - WadiFeynan—Abu Alsakeen–WadiAraba

  From WadiFeynan you continue hiking to Wadi Abu Alsakeen where you will have lunch.

  Then continue inside Abu Alsakeen intoWadi Araba where you will arrive at your private campsite for dinner and overnight.

• Day 5 - Wadi Araba—ShakaritMusaid

  Today you will hike through Wadi Araba Desert to the beautiful mountains from where you have beautiful views over the surrounding area.

  Overnight private camping at ShakaritMusaid.

• Day 6 - Wadi Araba—Little Petra—Petra

  After breakfast transfer by jeep to Siq al Barid (“Little Petra”) for the first taste of one of the seven worlds wonders. Siq al Barid means cold canyon in Arabic.

  From here you will climb up the steps and hike the back door route to the Monastery, one of Petra’s largest carved façade.

  At the end of your day, you will be transferred back to Ammarin Campsite for dinner and overnight.

• Day 7 - Petra

  After breakfast transfer to Petra visitor center for your second visit.

  Visit the Treasury, Street of Facades, Theatre, and the Colonnaded Street.

  After you still have time to visit the High Place of Sacrifice!

  You can have lunch at a restaurant inside Petra.

  Overnight at a 3* hotel.

• Day 8 - Petra — Wadi Rum

  After breakfast drive to Wadi Rum, famous from the red sand and rock formations.

  Arrive at your private campsite for your last night of private camping.

  Enjoy your last evening sitting around the campfire drinking traditional Bedouin tea.

• Day 9 - Wadi Rum—Dead Sea

  After breakfast transfer to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on the earth’s surface.

  Overnight at a 4* hotel at the Dead Sea.

• Day 10 - Dead Sea—Amman Airport

  Transfer to the Amman Queen Alia International Airport for departure.
