Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Amman
Welcome to Jordan! Upon landing, your driver will be waiting for you with a name sign at the arrivals area of the airport. The driver will take you toward Amman for your overnight stay.
Depending on your arrival time, feel free to tour Amman. You can take a cooking workshop at Beit Sitti, which is a cook-and-dine experience, to learn all about Arabic cuisine and its preparation.
Then, the evening is at your leisure to relax after your international flight.
Day 2: Travel to Petra
Today, travel down Kings Highway to Petra. While en route, make stops in Madaba, to see the natural-stone mosaics, and Mount Nebo. In Karak, you have the option to take a guided tour around, as well as have lunch. Then, visit the Dana Biosphere Reserve, a nature reserve founded in 1889—with beautiful viewpoints—before arriving in Petra.
In the evening, you can also choose to experience Petra By Night—which occurs only a few nights per week—a unique way to see the rock city by candlelight. For dinner, you can choose to enjoy a meal with a local family, or attend a local cooking workshop at Petra Kitchen, depending on your preference, before retiring to your accommodations.
Day 3: Tour Petra
The day is yours to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Petra. You have the choice between a guided or self-guided tour. Visit the Royal Tombs and make the climb to the viewpoint to look down onto the Treasury as the morning sun hits. Or, climb up the mountain opposite to the High Place of Sacrifice and take the trail down to the Garden Temple Complex. If you have enough energy left, opt to climb up to the largest of Petra’s monuments—the Monastery.
Following the exploration, you can approach the evening with last night’s options—Petra By Night, dinner with a local family, or a cooking workshop at Petra Kitchen. Or, simply enjoy your last night in Petra on your own.
Day 4: Travel to Wadi Rum
On this second morning in Petra, enter via the back route to the Monastery. If you’re up for an active sendoff to Petra, you can embark on a back-road hike with a local guide.
In the afternoon, drive south to the desert of Wadi Rum. Stay at a luxury overnight camp, or a basic, eco-friendly camp, based on your preference. Whichever you choose, enjoy dinner at the camp and some time under the stars.
Day 5: Explore Wadi Rum and travel to the Dead Sea
This morning, enjoy breakfast at the camp. If you are an early riser, catch a hot air balloon ride bright and early, at 6 am. If you’d like, embark on a 2.5-hour hike around Wadi Rum with a local guide, along with a camel ride.
Next, depart for the 2-hour Jeep tour to discover the highlights of the desert, which include red sand dunes, rock bridges, Nabatean inscriptions, and the house of Lawrence of Arabia.
Then, visit the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea. Float in the mineral-rich waters, enjoy a mud treatment, or simply soak up the sunshine. Continue enjoying the area on your overnight stay at the Movenpick Dead Sea.
Day 6: Depart from Amman
Depending on your departure time, you have another morning or even afternoon to relax at the Dead Sea. Then, your driver will pick you up and take you to the airport for your departure flight home. Safe Travels!
